    This professional will perform diversified generalist HR duties in the areas of associate relations, non-exempt staffing, payroll & benefits issues, and policy interpretation and application. They will be part of a great manufacturing team building high-quality electrical automotive parts for major OEMs around the world.     •  Assist supervisors with disciplinary and other personnel issues. Counsel associates on performance and behavioral issues.
    • Develop recommendations and coordinate associate relations activity/special projects to maintain a positive employer-associate relationship and maintain morale.
    • Interpret policies, answer questions, and counsel associates regarding policies.
    • Conduct investigations of alleged misconduct and submit findings and recommendations to management.
    • Coordinate the plant's responses to unemployment claims.
    • Coordinate non-exempt job placement including posting jobs, evaluating applications, interviewing candidates, scheduling employment tests, securing reference checks; extending offers, and onboarding.
    • Administer the internal job posting system by posting job notices, determining eligibility to bid, interviewing, and selecting successful candidates in cooperation with department managers/ supervisors.
    • Coordinate placement of temporary workers, building relationships, placing orders for temporaries, and maintaining records documenting orders, performance, and cancellations.
    • Coordinate and facilitate workforce training (including new hire orientation) as needed.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of training documentation, ensuring training matrixes are accurate.    
    • Maintain HRIS databases and/or Training databases. Verify accuracy of data, investigate causes of discrepancies, and make necessary corrections.
    • Assist with conducting exit interviews. Analyze findings and make recommendations to reduce turnover.
    • Complete regular reports as required (e.g., headcount, overtime, attendance, organization chart, payroll discrepancy, etc.).
    • Assist with MASH Committee functions as well as community interest programs.
    • Coordinate/manage contractors to provide on-site services such as vending and cleaning.




    • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business, or other related area, plus a minimum of three years' experience in HR/Associate Relations (or equivalent in experience and other education).
    • Broad knowledge of Human Resources and Associate Relations practices.
    • Organizational and leadership/management skills.
    • Mathematical, analytical, and computer skills emphasizing the use of Microsoft Office.
    • Strong verbal, written, and cross-culture communication skills, emphasizing interpersonal and group communication skills.
    • Ability to speak and facilitate in front of large groups.
    • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment a plus
