    Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA) is seeking an IT Governance Specialist, Corporate Information Technology.  In this position, you will provide leadership, coordination, and management of the IT Governance processes and functions to support MEAA’s business.   This role supports IT members from both Business Systems and Network & Infrastructure teams in the daily use and adoption of IT policies, processes, controls, and tools. Additionally, this role will champion, educate, and mentor business process owners in the governance framework.

    Responsibilities

    • Within an ITIL Framework, monitor and report IT effectiveness for resolving Incidents with existing IT Systems and Services to ensure adherence to published Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    • Manage the intake, prioritization, quality, and completion of IT Service Requests.
    • Support and reinforce the importance of IT Governance and its related processes by ensuring its use by the IT Department and the User Community.
    • Influence IT members and business process owners to achieve the desired outcomes identified in Project Charters, including process improvements.
    • Manage and continuously improve the IT SDLC frameworks, tools, and templates that support IT Governance best practices.
    • Facilitate the weekly IT Governance and IT Change Advisory board meetings, including the distribution of meeting minutes, action items, and Change Request system updates.
    • Plan, coordinate, lead, and/or attend meetings related to the efficient operation of the Corporate IT Team.
    • Perform weekly audits of IT Service Requests including approvals, documentation, and policy adherence. Provide corrective action as needed.
    • Assist in the performance of qualitative and quantitative analysis of IT processes and develop process improvement plans.
    • Support and assist the IT Director as needed.
    • Support and make recommendations to IT policies and procedures.
    • Further the goals and positive professional image of the IT Department by acting as a liaison between IT and other departments and functions to continually reinforce the IT Governance processes.
    • Learn to use and configure Alloy Navigator 7, the IT Service Desk software used at MEAA

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical area or 10 years’ experience in Service Management, Project Management or Application Development, or equivalent.
    • Experience working with an Enterprise ERP system.
    • Ability to balance and continually reprioritize assignments and duties.
    • Ability to effectively influence and mentor in governance processes a diverse team of IT professionals.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing technical writing skills.
    • Knowledge of computer, manufacturing, and financial systems.
    • Experience with the processes to design and implement information systems.
    • Broad and detailed knowledge of computer systems analysis, design, and programming.
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
